The characteristics of the cartridges are fundamental to ensuring efficient inflation. The quality of the seal is particularly important. A seal that is too thick becomes difficult to pierce; the CO2 evacuation hole is then too small and slows the gas release, thus slowing the airbag inflation speed. The inflation speed of FREEJUMP airbag vests (ranging from 80 ms to 130 ms depending on the size) is certainly the fastest on the market. This is due to numerous factors, including the quality of the cartridge seal opening.
FREEJUMP cartridges are manufactured in Austria or Japan. They are never manufactured in China or any other Asian country, as all our tests have shown that the quality of those cartridges is insufficient to guarantee the optimal operation of our airbags.
